RARE 1976 JAGUAR XJC 4.200 MANUAL TOTALLY RESTORED
MANUAL GEARBOX WITH OVERDRIVE, ORIGINAL NUMBER PLATES AND DOCUMENTS MILAN, ONLY 4 OWNERS.
ONE OF THE FEW EXAMPLES OF THIS MODEL AVAILABLE ON THE EUROPEAN MARKET.
This valuable and rare coupe derives from the well-known XJ6 sedan and was one of the last projects commissioned by Sir William Lyons before his retirement from Jaguar.

This specimen was registered new in Milan on 15-04-1976.

It still has its original number plates and registration certificate because it has never left the city.

After the first and second owners who owned it until 1996, the third owner kept it for twenty-two years until 2018.

The fourth and last owner, passionate about this model, wanted to entrust it to the well-known car restorer Jaguar Baroni to restore it to its original splendor.

The body was completely disassembled and repainted.

The interiors were ordered originals directly in England and installed by an expert upholsterer.

All the chrome, the rubber parts and the vinyl roof have been restored to their original state.

The mechanical part has undergone a complete overhaul without the need for engine and transmission overhaul work as they have been kept in excellent original condition.

From the information received from the previous owners it is believed that 53,600 km are the original ones of the car.

The tires and battery are new.

At the end of the restoration, the car has already undergone two revisions, the one in progress is valid until June 2023.

The car is equipped from new with a briar kit from the well-known Pavesi coach builder which covers the entire gearbox tunnel and the front and rear doors.

All the briars have been restored by the well-known cabinetmaker Brambilla.

It is equipped with an appreciable manual gearbox with overdrive.
